My Retro 50s/60s Vintage Wallpaper Border Collection – Thursday Retro Rewind

And finally, here is my vintage wallpaper border collection!

By Sara In AZ

Things are still crazy-nuts for us at the ranch, the flooring is going in this week and we are packing up a storm right now. I hope to have time in the very near future to start doing more posts on our retro ranch – hopefully my life will be a bit more settled in the near future so I can do that!

So, I just showed y’all my vintage wallpaper collection last week….now I wanted to show you all my vintage wallpaper borders. I don’t have as many borders – only 4 different patterns, so this will be the only post on the borders.

I just now realized that ALL of my borders are aquatic themed!

I thought these little fish and shell borders were so cute.

This is the box.

Here is a view of the border in the box – made by ‘Duro’.

I thought this fish border was really swell too.

8

Isn’t that name great – “Marine Garden”…..love that!

Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely adore mermaids, so I HAD to have these borders.

11

When I bought the borders there were 4 rolls and some remnants in this original cardboard box – neat!

Here is what the box looks like opened.

And finally, even though this border is not technically mermaids it is kind of mermaid-y and I just loved the pattern and the colors…..so cool!

I wish I knew the name of this border – I only have the stock number……it’s probably something cool like ‘Aqua Goddess’ or something like that!

Hope y’all enjoyed seeing all my different vintage wallpapers and borders!

So charming – and slightly naughty. Any plans to use or somehow display them?
