Won’t You Be My Neighbor – Elm Grove, Wisconsin

By RetroRuth

This week we have an absolutely gorgeous house from Wisconsin that is just packed with great stonework.

This home is located at 15000 Cascade Drive in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and it is approximately 4,500 square feet. It was built in 1965 and the asking price is $745,000. It is listed by Sotheby’s International Realty, and you can see the listing here. From the listing:

This is a remarkable opportunity to experience a mid-century modern marvel in the heart of Elm Grove. Created by legendary architect William Wenzler in 1965 this one-of-a-kind residence will take your breath away. Created from stone and wood and bathed in light from every angle this home makes a dynamic statement inspired by the curvaceous architecture, soaring ceilings and idyllic setting. Open concept living and dining, master suite with office and fireplace, great indoor pool, lower level family room and so much more to enjoy. This is the home you have been waiting for!

I assume the next to last pic is of the pole dancing arena.
Remarkable spaces, but the stonework is a bit too “Flintstones” for me. Also, another grandly scaled, high end MCM house with a surprisingly tight galley kitchen.

Wow what a gorgeous house! It kind of reminds me of the one in A Summer Place. It’s style is very FLW. I don’t think I would change a thing!
