So, what do you think?  Anything stand out to you> Unfortunately, the bathrooms are nothing to speak of, which is too bad but they could easily be restored. But that pink kitchen!!! And that kitchen in the basement! That is pretty much my dream. Two vintage kitchens. I’d have a whole house full of vintage kitchens if Tom would let me.

The kitchens, yes, but the rest leaves me cold. Those wood ceilings remind of those topsy-turvy houses they used to have in amusement parks that used visual tricks to make you feel disoriented. And three kitchens?

Exterior and interior are inconsistent in style and period – just plain odd.

For those of us who love 1930s and/or Art Deco houses, this house is a delight! I think of this style as “storybook” – super quaint but often with surprisingly modern features. Obviously the kitchens were redone in the 50s and, while I generally love this style of kitchen, to me it feels out of place in this house – though I appreciate that the owners probably wanted the latest greatest kitchen of the time. Sad about the bathrooms – so many bathrooms of the 30s had fabulous colored tile, often with black accents. I find the wood paneling and ceilings very warm and beautiful, and modern in a 1930s kind of way.
The house looks to have been super well cared for, which is lovely to see,
