Sara spotted this lovely home on the Instagram of Kate Sanderson and alerted me to this right away! This one is a winner.

This home is located at 41 Lakeview Drive, Grafton, Ohio. It is three bedrooms and three bathrooms and approximately 2,400 square feet. It was built in 1954 and the asking price is $285,000. It is listed by Howard Hanna, and you can see the listing here. From the listing:

Classic 1950s design & appeal with a modern flair!! This Indiana Limestone maintenance free exterior Sprawling Ranch is awaiting your arrival. A newer driveway & 26×26 garage (with gas line) is plenty big for your car & guests. The entire yard has an irrigation system. There are extended patios & walk ways for entertaining. A gas line for a gas grill, a beautiful outdoor fireplace, a 10×15 shed for all your outdoor equipment. Inside you are treated to a covered entryway & once you step inside you will be impressed with the wide open floor plan. You are greeted by plenty of natural light through all the many windows & the open living room with its gas fireplace & wide hall & door ways. You have a view of the den/“Man Cave” to just sit and relax. There is also a well-appointed California Room or maybe it is your family room or sun room, whatever you choose, you will be impressed by the gorgeous views out every window. The eat-in kitchen is sure to take you to a happy place with the original stove top and oven (all in working order). The classic, classy kitchen of yester year still has room for a dinette for a more quaint meal & you still have a formal dining room for those larger gatherings. The home also features 3 bedrooms with custom closet built ins & 2 ½ baths. Additional updating includes newer Roof, K-Guard gutters & newer vinyl soffits, windows, electric & plumbing & so much more (on file). This is truly a one of a kind home. Okay, what do you think?  They have more rooms pictures that are a bit more modern with their furniture choices, but I’m going to tell you something: That Western Holly wall oven makes up for pretty much everything else. +1000 points for that one. It’s possible that I would buy a whole house for that wall oven. No lie.

In addition to the beautiful wall oven, I love the cabinets and the backsplash. Is that original and can you buy the shiny metal tiles today? One of rooms off the living room has an accordian door. Love those, I’m guessing it may be original or maybe from the 60s.

Doesn’t look like it would take much to undo that “disco” décor and make this house all it could be.
That same kitchen layout appears in so many of these time capsule houses, but this may be about the best and most original.

Love, love, love the kitchen! Just got back from Home & History Tour in Las Vegas, and want to bring my 1950s Cape Cod back to its original glory!
