Retro Craft Time – Super Easy Apron Lady Magnet Labels for Vintage Kitchen Cabinets

By RetroRuth

Hey guys! This week we are going to craft (or throw together) some really simple magnet labels that you can use inside or outside of your vintage metal kitchen cabinets!

I recently did a huge purge and reorganizing of our kitchen cabinets, including our dishes and our pantry. Since Tom now has absolutely no idea where anything is anymore, poor guy, I decided to take pity on him and label everything so he would stop looking so lost all the time when he needs a snack.

The first thing I did was find some cute artwork to use, then I used my grandfather’s paper cutter to make sure my labels were all even.

For the artwork, you can easily use something from your own stash, like vintage labels or clippings from magazines, but I decided to get something ready-made from Etsy. I got these pretty apron labels from Brensan Digital, which I thought would look perfect on my cabinets.Affiliate Links

Next, round yourself up a little helper.

Then just stick your cut-out artwork to the back of some adhesive magnet paper and cut to size, because easy is how we love to do things around here.Affiliate Links

And you are done! Perfect retro magnet labels for pretty much any metal surface in your house. If you are super-weird like I am, you can also use these to label your fridge shelves or your desk drawers. If you aren’t as freaked out over organization, these would make great photo frames for your fridge. Enjoy!

I’m so glad to know there might be someone else who labels their fridge shelves. I’ve taken a lot of grief for it.

You gotta label the fridge shelves! Otherwise it’s just chaos. 🙂
