Tuesday Etsy Roundup – The Flower Power Edition

By Eartha Kitsch

This week, I thought that we’d take a look at some Etsy items with cheerful floral designs! Even though Fall is winding towards Winter, we can still have fabulous blooms all over the place, I say!

First up, quite possibly the prettiest breadbox that I’ve ever seen from seller HuntersKitchen:

So pretty! With it’s pops of color and bright flowers, this breadbox would easily be the star of any kitchen!

And you might find the next item from seller theretrobeehive as its cheerful costar:

Have you ever seen such a sweet little toaster? I love the avocado green color and that adorable row of flowers across the front.

How about something pretty in the wardrobe department? It looks like seller Aquanetta has that one all sewn up!

Holy heck, I love this dress so much. The bright fun flowers with the flouncy hem and mermaid fit are just lovely. I love that it has long sleeves and a high neck too. If this dress was in my size, I’d snatch it up and wear it to all the holiday parties with my best cha-cha heels.  No girl would be a wallflower under the mistletoe in this number!

Speaking of holidays, this pin from seller PurpleDaisyJewelry is just the thing!

With its pretty glass stones and bright rhinestones, this brooch would make a great splash of color on a Winter coat, sweater or blouse. It looks a lot like a poinsettia so I can also imagine it making a really special holiday gift for a vintage loving lady!

(Yes, I’m talking about the holidays during October. I get a little amped from October straight on through to the new year!)

And while we’re on the topic of  getting “amped”, the next item from seller grandmothersattic has the same effect:

I squealed like an eight year old girl when I saw this set of original Daisy Snaps still in the package. I can remember spending many an hour making necklaces and bracelets with these as a kid. So much fun, as are the great graphics on the package!

Another item that takes me back is this glorious mod floral wallpaper from seller TheVintageResource:

The seller sells the paper by the yard but also has multiple rolls of this pattern. I can imagine an amazing accent wall done with this paper – or even an entire room because that would be even better! I just love the colors and the retro flowers.

For another bright burst of floral happiness, check out this amazing pot from seller HouseofSeance:

I can just imagine making all of my Fall and Winter soups and stews in this beautiful enamel stockpot with fun daisy design . It’s pretty enough to take from stove top to table too!

And finally, while we’re in the kitchen, why not take a look at the sweetest little vintage apron from seller OldSteamerTrunkJunk:

With it’s pretty floral design and cute rick-rack trim and bows, I can’t imagine anything nicer. And the seller says that it’s handmade too! Just beautiful.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed this walk through the flower garden with me! To see more details about any of the items featured here, be sure and click on the links to the shops above.

You’re right! Vivian would love that dress! We should buy a bunch of sets of Daisy Snaps and have a party.

I’d already spotted that to die for bread box and have been lusting over it ever since. If only shipping from the Netherlands wasn’t $50 it would be mine, all mine damn it.

I think that’s one of the prettiest toasters that I’ve ever seen. And it holds a lot of toast. Win/Win.
